When I first met the guys at WheelSentry®, I was surprised at how easily the product worked. It brought a new dimension to wheel nut safety and inspections with the indicators being held in place, providing an easy application after the wheels have been changed by our workshop, holding all indicators together.
Can you ensure a loose wheel nut won’t damage your business?
Reduce the risk of wheel detachment, protect uptime, and stay compliant with a simple, proven system.
Wheel loss is a known risk. It’s just not always managed.
Every year, 7,500-11,000 wheel fixing defects occur, causing 50-400 wheel detachments. The damage, injuries, and fatalities, as well as VOSA prohibitions, downtime and costly repairs can all be prevented with a simple solution.
For fleet operators, this is an ongoing operational risk, and if it’s not being actively managed, it’s being left to chance.
WheelSentry® is a simple way to reduce risk at source.
As the only combined wheel nut indicator and retainer system on the market, it’s designed to give fleet operators a clear, reliable way to monitor wheel security and act before a minor issue becomes a serious failure.
How it works:
WheelSentry® indicators are fitted to each wheel nut and linked together using a durable Viton band.
- Each indicator is aligned when fitted, creating a clear visual reference point
- If a wheel nut begins to loosen, even slightly, the indicator moves out of position
- This movement is immediately visible during routine walkaround checks
- The Viton band allows controlled movement while helping retain the nut in place
This means potential issues are easy to spot, quick to act on, and solved before they escalate into detachment or damage. No specialist tools are required, and the system integrates directly into existing maintenance and inspection routines.
