Electric Motors for MEWPs & Access Platforms

Electric motors drive battery-powered access platforms, and a motor that runs hot or stalls under load usually needs replacing rather than repairing.

Check motor brushes first, since worn brushes are a cheaper and more common cause of the same symptoms, and fit new motor controls if the fault is electronic rather than mechanical.
